Hey there, sunset chasers and beach lovers! If you're planning a trip to the Caribbean paradise of Curacao, you're in for a real treat when it comes to catching some of the most breathtaking sunsets you've ever seen. Curacao, with its vibrant culture, crystal-clear waters, and stunning landscapes, offers the perfect backdrop for those magical moments when the sun dips below the horizon. Let's dive into the five most jaw-dropping sunsets that you simply can't miss during your visit to this tropical gem.

Jan Tiel beach 🌴

Jan Tiel beach is a bay in the southeast of Curaçao. It has a wide variety of restaurants and beach clubs. On Saturdays Zanzibar has a popular Happy Hour from 17:00 PM until 18:00 PM. So we suggest you visit the Happy Hour and enjoy the sunset afterwards

Kokomo beach

Kokomo beach is getting more popular under sunset spotters.

At the beach you can find a beautiful swing where you can make Instagrammable pictures with a sunset background on a swing 📸
Our favorite part of this beach is that there is a big chance that you spot iguanas.

Niffo Huts

Niffo Huts is a restaurant that is located in Boka Sint Michiel. You can enjoy the sundown here with your feed in the sand and a tasty burger in your hand! 🍔Good to know: they say they have the best burgers in Sint Michiels Bay….
It is up to you to find out. 😉

Grote and Kleine knip

These two beaches are really famous on the island. They are the furthest away from our hotel but definitely worth a visit. Grote Knip is a very touristy beach. If you prefer a more relaxing and quieter area Kleine Knip is an great alternative and they are located next to each other

Mambo Beach

Mambo beach is perhaps the most famous beach on Curacao. Start your weekend well on Friday with pleasant happy hours on almost the entire Mambo Beach Boulevard. You can enjoy the sunset here with a Brassa beer in your hand. 😊

☀️The sunset on the island is quite early. Usually between 6.30PM and 7:00PM, so make sure you are on time 😊

☀️Don’t go home too early! It is a common mistake to stop taking photographs as soon as the sun has disappeared below the horizon. Sometimes you can even see a beautiful pink glow an hour after sunset.
